KQ hive mind
Killer queen is a 10 player arcade game. I like it and play it more than I probably should. When you play a game so much, spend so much time and effort on it, you want to know how good you are at the game. That is where kqhivemind.com comes in. Now I did not make kqhivemind! But I have been working with the developer of it to build some cool stat tracking boxes. These boxes let a user scan a NFC card that is assigned to their user profile. Meaning you can be given very objective stats on how terrible I really am at this game.
It was designed using a raspberry pi zero W but with the shortage of those boards in recent times I changed to a custom built PCB with a esp32 and an pn532 NFC reader. This not only brought down the cost a LOT it also simplified the building of the stat boxes.
